It was an interesting opening contest at Nehru Grounds at Hubli on the occasion of VRL Dr Raj Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The contestants in the box office were heading the two teams of Dancers and Editors team.

The regular player and CCL Karnataka Bulldozers Captain Kichcha Sudeep's Dancers Association won the first limited over cricket against Puneeth Rajakumar Editors team. Editors team made 123 runs while Sudeep Dancers Association team not losing many wickets won the first contest at Nehru ground in Hubli.

The first match has been curiouslu watched and the stadium was full. Sudeep is a regular player and in the recent Celebrity Cricket League his Karnataka Bulldozers was crowned the runner up.

 Sudeep scored 25 runs and remained not out. The next match is between Darshan team and Vijay team. Both the action heroes represent two associations of the playing eight teams.
